CoNISMa established the Prize "Francesco Maria Faranda" in memory of the founder of CoNISMa, to award young researchers through a competition that will take place every two years.
The prize is destined for young researchers engaged in interdisciplinary research and, preferably, with a holistic approach, in the field of Marine Sciences.
The Second Edition is organized with the scientific and organizational support of the European Marine Board and the awards ceremony will take place on the afternoon of October 9, 2014, during the side event organized by CoNISMa in occasion of EUROCEAN2014 Conference, to be held in Rome next October 7-9.
The amount of the Faranda Prize is 5.000,00 euro and will be awarded to the first author of the best scientific article submitted with the application. Furthermore, the first authors of the top 10 articles will be awarded grants of 500,00 euro each, and free registration for the
Rome EUROCEAN2014 Conference.
